TE MOOI OM WAAR TE ZIJN (TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE), 2001
– Sint-Michielsgestel, North Brabant (13 May to 1 July)

Intitiated by the Stichting Dommel in Beeld.
A temporary art route along the river Dommel with authenticity and manipulation in the landscape as key concepts. 25 visual artists were involved in this project.
The participating artists placed sculptures, intervened in the landscape or added something to is, thus giving their vision of the surrounding nature and the landscape. The subject matter dovetailed with the broader social developments such as spatial planning and environmental management, and was born from a fascination with the river and its surrounding landscape. The project included the educational package ‘With Different Eyes’ and an art projects for nine- to twelve-year-old elementary school pupils.
